Regional Event Operators
Description
Represents special event sponsors and organizers that have knowledge of events that may impact travel on roadways or other modal means. Examples of regional event operators include sporting events, conventions, motorcades/parades, and public/political events. These operators interface to the ITS to provide event information such as date, time, estimated duration, location, and any other information pertinent to traffic movement in the surrounding area.
