Represents the central PSAP for all 911 calls made to the Summit County Sheriff's Office. Responsibilities include 911 call–taking and dispatching County public safety vehicles to respond to emergencies, as well as providing services to the following agencies within the county: Springfield Township Police Department, Northfield Center Township Fire Department and the Metro Parks Serving Summit County. The sheriff's dispatch also assists all other emergency service agencies within Summit County in the role as point of contact for the activation of Reverse Alert Telephone Notification System, Emergency Management Operations Center, and the Emergency Alert Radio System.
