ODOT District 4 Vehicle Detection Devices

Description

Represents ODOT vehicle detectors that measure vehicle volume, speed and occupancy/density. Vehicle detectors gather traffic counts along Ohio DOT roadways and report data to the Traffic Data Archive System. This element also represents permanent Automatic Traffic Recorders (ATR) and, weigh–in–motion sensors that collect vehicle volume, classification and weight.
